The company offers a data management platform for enterprises in private, public, and hybrid cloud environments. Rubrik capabilities include backup, recovery, global indexed search, SLA policy automation, copy data management, and encryption.
Rubrik received $180 million in Series D funding round led by Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) in May 2017. The company in early 2018 purchased Datos.io another cloud data management company. The startup raised $261 million in January 2019, which helped Rubrik to push its valuation to $3.3 billion.
